Ok so 1 week from today was quite an emotional day. Sorry I haven't blogged since then, but I have been taking care of my beautiful wife. So an update on how we are doing. Well, for me, I feel as though I am still on the whole emotional rollercoaster. My wife is doing much better physically. We had to go to the doctor on last Wednesday for an ultrasound. Then on Thursday morning she was losing to much blood and about passed out on me. I took her to the ER and they did surgery which went well. She will be off work for this next week as well;she also is still dealing with the emotional side of things. We are glad to have a church family that has provided us with love and care. We have recieved many cards and gift certificates for various eating places so we didn't have to cook. Our parents have been wonderful through this whole thing also. Along with my Brother and his wife and also Christin's sister. We appreciate all the phone calls from every family member and all of the prayers that have gone out on our behalf. This has been what I like to call a "faith growing experience." We ask that you continue to pray for us as we go through this emotional battle. We know that God has His hand on us and pray that he will continue to bless us in a special way. As for now Mm Kine purchased us a precious moments figurine that is an angel holding a lamb to remind us that God is in control and the little child that was in Christin's stomach is in His hands. Thanks again much love from us.

Derek,
Karen and I lost a baby about three years ago. It was a very difficult time. We're doing much better these days, but hearing your story brings back the emotions of that season of our lives. We will definitely b praying for you and your wife, Christin.
