Today I was reminided in how precious life is! I continued my normal day by running around town getting done what I had to get done before we leave today for fusion. I picked my wife up for lunch and we headed out to bummies because it just opened and we love there burgers. After that I ran her home quick so she could put together what she wanted to take this weekend and then brought her back to work. I thought that I would run home to get a quick nap in before I went back to the church to get ready to leave. I shut my garage door on the way in making sure that our pet cat didn't run underneath it. She is pretty big now so she is able to set the sensor off if she slips by. So I watch the door go down pretty far but not all of the way. I went inside and took a nap got a few things around and at about 3:15 walked out into the garage to see the cat laying by the garage door. I yelled kitty?? then I opened the door just to see that she had been crushed and was dead. So I had to dig a hole and bury the cat before I went to the church. Then came the real test do I call my wife at work to tell her that the cat had been killed by the garage door. Or do I call the garage door people and ask them what is wrong with your sensors!! Not really the sensors work fine but I think she tried ducking the sensors and slipping out right when it was coming down. So I decided to call Christin and tell her that the cat had died and she was pretty sad too! But the one thing that I learned, don't ever joke with your wife about killing her animal because if it happens she may not believe you! Also life is precious so even those things called cats that you don't like, take time to enjoy what God has blessed you with because maybe just maybe tommorrow it won't be there. On that note I would like to say R.I.P. Kitty
