It's been 5 WEEKS!
Well, we've been here in Michigan for 5 weeks! Things have been unpacked, and our normal schedule has been in place for a while. I (Christin) have come in to Cadillac for a "me date" to put pictures on the blog and on facebook. Sitting here at McDonald's with my Sprite. :)
Things are going well! We are making friends, the girls are making friends. Especially with the nursery workers.... ha! All in time (hopefully). Madelyn and Adriauna love going to Sunday School and Brooklynn is still warming up to the nursery worker. Again, hopefully it won't take long. The church is great! Warm, receptive, caring and great people!
Madelyn starts HeadStart preschool on Sept. 18th and is SO excited! God definitely worked that one out. At first, they didn't have any spots available for her, so we were looking into the Christian schools for preschool, knowing that we were going to have to trust that God would somehow provide the money for that. I am working on her letters with her and she loves it! My dad said "preschool is supposed to teach her something", but she wants to learn now. :) She loves to make up songs, and comes up with some crazy ones! She is doing so well with her coloring.
Adriauna is doing great at the potty training. Now really training anymore. She also wants to work on her letters, so we started that too. She loves to sing and is also getting a lot better with her speech and coloring.
Brooklynn is trying to do everything and anything her big sisters are doing. She is walking so well and even with her shoes on. ;) She wants to color at the big table with her sisters, but not in her booster. No ma'am. It has to be in one of the chairs. She's our daredevil. No matter how many times she falls off that chair, she's getting back on. She loves to climb the stairs. She loves to get books and sit on the bottom stair and read her books.
Baby #4 is doing well and growing! We have our first appointment with our new doctor this Friday. We weren't recommended to them so hopefully we like her! Due date is still somewhat of a mystery. It kept changing so all we know is somewhere between November 18th - 26th. But we are going to try to convince this new doctor to induce like my fabulous Dr. Davis. The girls love to give the baby hugs and kisses. Madelyn has gotten used to the fact that it's a nother girl and not a brother. Poor girl was so disappointed. Her name for the baby for the longest time was "Pochesamomae" (Po-chee-sa-mo-mae) Don't ask where she got it; mystery to us too. Her newest names though have been "Army" and "Luppy". We haven't quite narrowed down the name yet. Still working on it.
Looking forward to my parents and Grandma/Grandpa Clark coming up to visit this next weekend! Have a great Holiday Weekend!
P.S. Pictures coming in the next blog.
