WOF Ladies Retreat

So many words to express how blessed I was on this retreat. Not only did I spend it with wonderful ladies from our church, I was able to see QUICKLY, only long enough for a few sentences each and a selfie, some very dear friends of mine from IN. Some were from a previous church where Derek had served, one a friend from youth group in high school and the other a friend from college. The speakers were absolutely phenomenal! Sheila Walsh and Jen Hatmaker were the ones who spoke directly to my heart. The others were wonderful too - Patsy Clairmont, Luci Swindoll, Marilyn Meberg, Thelma Wells, Sarah Jakes-Roberts, and Mary Graham. Sandi Patty was also there - fantastic! Her husband and a few of their kids sang some songs for us on Friday night. OH MY! I grew up listening to Sandi because my mom was a huge fan, and I was too, especially of the Friendship Company. Wow, memories! Katherine Everett brought the word and encouragement through drama - Woah! And last but not least BUILDING 429 IN CONCERT! So great! I loved being able to bring these ladies to my "home terf" and have such a wonderful, inspiring, God-filled 2 days with them. I wanted to take them to Casa! and Jefferson Pointe but the rain got the best of us... but we did make it to DeBrands & Olive Garden.
