The Brats!

So far, being the babysitter hasn't been that bad. Just now at 11:00pm they are both still up and throwing bags of pretzels at each other. Ok, I'm not the best at making teenagers go to bed, but they can make their own decisions. At least I can go back to bed after I take them to school tomorrow.

Tonight I went to El Camino with a friend from church. Her little daughter, Ella, came too. The waiters kept coming over to talk to Ella. It was funny. We had a great time eating and talking. Her and I haven't got to know each other since they started coming to church so it was great. Then I went home to finish some laundry. I went back to the house and found Andrew playing video games and Beth asleep on the couch. She was asleep when I left. That's what happens when you stay up real late. It was hilarious. We watched "Breakfast at Tiffany's". I'd never seen that movie before. I know, I know. But it's a great movie.

She (the teen) just asked me if I would go to Scott's to get "Munchies" for her. At 11 at night. Haha...I said no. Last night after a supper with one of the youth sponsors and her adorable kids, we went to get oreos, popcorn and Stewart's grape soda. Strange cravings.

Tomorrow night, we still have youth. I'm in charge, along with our wonderful youth sponsors. Thursday, I'm off to babysit for some friends. Then Friday I get to substitute back at Southern Wells - 4th grade. YAY!

As for our ducks. They are out in their "barn" and loving the outdoors. Last week when Derek was still here, the two mallards got out - somehow. Then Sunday, they got out again. I probably looked like an idiot chasing them around to get them to go back in. And Monday, one again got out. I think they crawl under the wire. The Peking ducks are too big, but the mallards are just the right size. They can't fly yet, at least I don't think so. We haven't seen them yet. I can't give you pictures because Derek has the camera. But as soon as he gets back and we have time to get pics on the blog they will be here.

As you can tell, it's late and I'm rambling. But to everyone that stuck with this rambling and read it all... Have a great week!
